My name is Dylan Teaford. I am an American artist. I was a zygote on 9/11, my ancestors made the Liberty Bell, and I first used the Internet in 2009. I live and make art in Brooklyn. My work uses digital fabrication, found media, and traditional sculpture to trace modern self mythologies and the process of absorbing symbols through proximity rather than intention. In addition to my art practice I founded SOAP Magazine, an independent Art and Literature journal, with my peers. The second issue is forthcoming.
